Floral-patterned walls: Decora by Ragno

One of the clearest trends over the past few years, as far as tiling goes, has been the search for a wallpaper effect on porcelain stoneware tiles. A total look of floral-patterned walls and floors are an increasingly more popular solution for interior designers and those looking for a special renovation for their interiors. Rango, who know all about porcelain stoneware, have beautifully interpreted this trend by launching an incredible collection in 2022 called Decora.

Porcelain stoneware that looks like wallpaper

The wall covering, i.e., the technique of covering one or more walls with visually stunning decorations, is already wide-spread and adored. Moreover, the latest digital printing technologies have opened new possibilities for customization and allow for the creation of genuine works of art. Once upon a time, wallpaper was the only thing that allowed one to “draw” on the wall, but today we can even find collections of eye-catching small or large tiles. Its advantage with respect to wallpaper is that it is more durable and offers more versatility on both walls and floors indoors and outdoors.

Nature blooms with Decora by Ragno

The Sassuolo company is a genuine global star in ceramic. With companies like Ragno, which was founded in 1949, the Italian tile industry became a must for anyone in the world looking for designer finishes. That’s why we never miss out on its proposals and new releases!

This year we fell in love with the Decora collection with its four expressive nature-inspired and floral patterns which have been proposed in large formats of 30×120 cm or 60×120 cm. Their names are Fizzy, Flora, Palm, and Twig. Fizzy is wonderfully vintage with its wild flowers on a white background; Floral contains petals in a water-colored effect and a bold blue-violet; Palm has large tropical and palm leaves; and Twig includes muted colors and delicate cherry-tree flowers and branches. In addition to the four decorations, there are five solid-colored backgrounds to experiment with color and vegetation pairings: beige, white, blue, mustard, and terracotta. Finally, the tiles come in aluminum, blue, bronze, mustard, and terracotta.

Why do we like Decora so much? Because it is eye-catching, modest, spectacular, and as natural as a bouquet of flowers or plants which bring life to the home. But we’ll let the pictures do the talking…Check out the effect of Decora on walls and floors!
