Frametable by Alias, new outdoor lightness

COVER: Alias, Frametable Outdoor table – design Alberto Meda

Light yet robust, the archetypal model of the table created by the designer Alberto Meda in 2003 is today ready for the outdoors in a green version which mixes elegance and functionality.

  • What it is Frametable Outdoor by Alias, the new table with a green feel.
  • What makes it special Created in 2003 from Alberto Meda’s idea of reducing the elements of the traditional table to a minimum, it is now available in a light, durable, recyclable and completely aluminum version.
  • How it is made It is a table which was designed to reduce its elements to a minimum. With no frame, it has a painted, diecast aluminum structure and legs anchored to its self-supporting top with aluminum extrusion slats. Flexible and durable, it is available in three measures and designed for the outdoors.
  • Whose idea it is Alberto Meda, the Italian architect and industrial designer born in 1945 who has always worked with the most important Italian and international design brands. A winner of six Compasso d’Oro and many other international prizes, some of his products are part of the permanent collection of New York’s MOMA.
  • We chose it because… Subtly bold, with a quasi-elementary form and a light structure that ensures the highest resistance, this is the perfect table for the terrace or garden because it has been designed and formed in the smallest details to ensure style and practicality with a recyclable material.
