From the synthetic Flumood to the naturalness of stone and marble

Synthetic materials have become such a big part of our everyday lives and we are familiar with their imaginative and futuristic names. They are usually made with mineral and acrylic resin mixtures which have sophisticated characteristics. With its extraordinary characteristics, Flumood, patented by antoniolupi and used mainly for tops, washbasins and bathtubs, is one of these next-generation surfaces.

Natural materials, like stone and marble, provide a whole other feeling, and for this reason antoniolupi has decided to offer its refined clientele a collection of freestanding washbasins with a sculptural look and spectacular personality.

Thanks to their expressive force, marble and stone recall the eternal world of art. They even have the power to enhance the spaces which host them for the power of their colors, unique hues and the pure volumes which they embody.

Five eternal looks

Five high-quality Italian materials were chosen to decorate the bodies of these washbasins: Stone Grey stone, Port Laurent marble, Calacatta Viola marble, Rosso Levanto marble and Verde Alpi marble.

The result is astonishing and glamorous! Let’s take a look up close at these five sculptural monoliths.

The Tuba washbasin in Port Laurent marble

Tuba was designed by the famous designer Carlo Colombo, and it is a washbasin which seems to open up like the stem of a flower. It has an organic form which gracefully situates itself in the bathroom and draws eyes to it without becoming too invasive. After being launched in Flumood, the washbasin is now available in a Port Laurent marble version.

The Albume washbasin in Calacatta Viola marble

Albume by Carlo Colombo was created through the superimposition of various geometrics shapes. Available in various material combinations for the basin and the base, Album is now available in a completely Calacatta Viola marble version. This elegant material further enhances the project and makes the washbasin the true highlight of the bathroom.

The Ago85 washbasin in Stone Grey stone

Ago85 by Mario Ferrarini is the perfect synthesis of two minimalist volumes. The heart of the washbasin lies in the delicate encounter between its circular basin with thin edges and cylindrical base which narrows upwards. This pure geometry is further enhanced by the earthy look of the Stone Grey stone.

The Simplo85 washbasin in Rosso Levanto marble

Thin edges and perfectly balanced proportions define Simplo85 by Mario Ferrarini. Its name hints at its minimalist form, and in the Rosso Levanto marble version it turns into a flawlessly elegant, sculptural volume.

The Fusto washbasin in Verde Alpi marble

Fusto by Nevio Tellatin is a freestanding washbasin with a rigorous form and sharp lines. In the Verde Alpi marble version, Fusto becomes an exquisite object even with its clean and minimalist forms.
