Five years after Oluce released a lamp dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus, the famous German applied art and design school, the historic lighting brand now presents a new, functional and modern floor lamp which is expanding the Berlin family of lamps.
Berlin, a collection of elegant and retro lamps
Designed by the famous French designer, Christophe Pillet, who has already collaborated with Oluce and shown off his talent for expressive rigor and his penchant for simplicity, Berlin is a collection with a retro and industrial look which calls back to the Modernist style of the early 1900s. The collection is made up of a ceiling lamp, the new floor lamp, and a soon-to-be-released pendant lamp.

Oluce, an historic brand that makes iconic lights

The Berlin modern floor lamp: all the features
Berlin is an elegant lamp with a timelessly beautiful look which is full of charm when turned on and decorative when off. The pedestal is made up of two thick metallic rings with a slender profile, while inside there are two wired glass discs. The two diffusers discs are held up by a vertical stem with a tubular form and a thin profile.
The two discs can be rotated and adjusted according to different needs, i.e., for reading or ambient lighting.
The Berlin floor lamp’s materials
Berlin, as with all Oluce lamps, has been constructed with the best materials. The stem, base and diffuser disc are made out of metal and available in two colors: an anodized brass finish or matte black. Meanwhile, the discs are available in wired glass. The Berlin is equipped with an LED lighting source.
