At Ambiente 2025, sustainability is not a mere theme, but a genuine priority. The Ethical Style program, on-going for ten years, sets the industry standard for conscientious design, highlighting products which respect rigorous criteria for ecological and social sustainability.
With 345 exhibitors selected for this year’s edition (140 of whom are making their first experience), Ethical Style shows how design can be a vehicle for change. Thanks to a special label, guests can easily identify the stands which adhere to the program’s values and explore innovative and responsible solutions.
Ethical Style: ten years of commitment to sustainability
Divided into six main categories, Ethical Style stands out thanks to its attention to the various facets of sustainability. Ecological materials, like certified wood and bio-based materials, and environmentally friendly production, with processes which minimize the use of energy and resources, are just a few examples.
Another one of the program’s pillars is fair and socially responsible production which guarantees ethical working conditions and respect for local communities. Meanwhile, recycled and reused design transforms waste and recycled materials into high-quality products.
Next, artisanal production celebrates traditional skills, keeping them relevant to the future.
Lastly, sustainable innovation favors technological solutions which protect the environment and optimize resources.
The Ethical Style label
Each participating company can showcase the “Ethical Style” label, a special designation which attests to a commitment to conscientious production. Over the years, a growing number of exhibitors have obtained this designation, paving the way towards a more ethical and sustainable future for business.
Ethical Style Spots: inspiration and innovation
To add to the experience, the Ethical Style Spots provide a space to discover how companies integrate sustainability into their production processes. Located in Galleria 0 and in the foyer of Hall 3.1, these spaces allow guests to take a look up close at the innovations which are redefining contemporary design.
Ethical Style is not only a program for exhibitors, but a statement of intent: to foster design which not only furnishes, but respects and improves the world in which we live.
