Kartell x Starck: the elegance of intelligence is an exhibition which pays homage to design in order to celebrate RBC’s 35th birthday. One of the most important French contemporary design companies, its first showroom in Nimes was designed in 1987 by Philippe Starck.
Frank Argentin, the founder of the RBC group, did not want to miss out on the chance to celebrate RBC in style on June 22nd (the day of the brand’s birthday). On the one hand, there is Phillippe Starck, the starchitect who needs no introductions. And on the other, there is design in all its forms, which can be seen on this occasion in the creations by the designer for Kartell. Thanks to a unique setting made in collaboration with Kartell, the French showroom has become a collective tale of the creative and conceptual process of the most contemporary design and a showroom for the most iconic and innovative pieces from Starck-Kartell.
Until July 1, 2022 (the inauguration was on June 22nd) you will be able to see creativity, technology and innovation in the DrGlob chairs, the Goodnight lamps, the A.I. seating and the Smart Wood collection which exemplifies the visionary work carried out by Starck and Kartell on the engineering of materials. This avant-garde selection showcases the philosophy of RBC, a family-run group which has promoted design culture since its inception and always favored a forward-thinking approach.
