A 10,000 sqm space entirely dedicated to the contract sector is the biggest addition to Cersaie 2021: the Contract Hall in pavilion 18.
This space was heavily requested to create business relationships, where supply and demand can meet between architectural studios and companies working in the light, home automation, outdoor design, finishing, kitchen, and wellness sectors.
“With Pavilion 18, Cersaie has significantly evolved,” explained Emilio Mussini, the president for promotional activities at Confindustria, “creating new business opportunities for Italian and foreign professionals who will be at the event and would like to meet with the sector’s best companies”.
This choice is completely in line with the concept of Cersaie Open to evolution, i.e., an exhibition open to evolution and the future. And “the future” also means recognizing the importance of the contract sector in the international market and promoting Made-In-Italy companies. By opening the exhibition to other sectors, the goal is to enhance Cersaie’s role as a high-quality event connected to the world of design, materials, interior design and outdoor furniture, as well as with an eye to startups.
The heartbeat of the new Contract Hall is l’Archincont(r)act, the second edition of this 200-sqm location/ event where the best in Real Estate design stands out. It is cared for in the smallest details (from bathroom furniture to stairs, lighting and outdoors) by ten architecture studios of the Italian and European architectural elite. “The studios of Pavilion 18” explained Emilio Mussini, highlighting an example of how the new “Spa in Outdoor” concept was developed through a mockup, “show precisely what they mean by wellness, spas and hotels”.
It is a versatile concept which connects the various product sectors and offers us a holistic perspective of the design world. Ceramic companies no longer only produce floors and tiles, but also décor accessories and bathroom fixtures. That’s why it is important to open a dialogue between companies and allow new business opportunities to arise between the sector’s professionals.
During Cersaie, there is no lack of networking between meetings and thematic events, which are open to all, for meeting manufacturers, designers, retailers and professionals who create the world’s architectural trends.
