20 years of Luca Nichetto in a book

The designer Luca Nichetto presents Projects, collaborations and conversations in design, a coffee table book which not only covers 20 years of projects, but also unveils a network of characters and relationships in and around the designer’s world.

This book was created to inspire readers with the power of its images, conversations and new projects which traverse the arts, design, fashion and food. Presented during the Fuorisalone 2022, Projects, collaborations and conversations has been published by Phaidon and is divided into two parts which chronologically alternate, from 2000 to today, between stories and designs. On the one hand, there are interviews with artists, top managers, journalists, artisans and designers which have been gathered and written by the writer Max Fraser and the journalist and architect Francesca Picchi; meanwhile, on the other hand, there are 137 projects, 400 photographs, prototypes, sketches and lots of anecdotes and unheard stories which sum up the essence of Studio Nichetto.

It is a sort of “behind the scenes look” with a decidedly Pop voice and inevitable references to the Eighties. Thanks to the traveling project Nichetto Book Circle—the first stop is taking place in NYC during the ICFF 2022—this “living” book hopes to start a dynamic debate on the immediate future of design with many international and eclectic voices being gradually involved in the next editions.

You should not expect your classic brand book, but rather a story with no filters from Luca Nichetto who hopes to chart a course for design fans and all the young talents entering into the world of design.

The book is available on the site: nichettostudio.com
