Gruppo Euromobil, the historical furniture brand, has gifted itself something exceptional for its 50th birthday: a new 2,400 m2 international design and strategic hub in Falzè di Piave, Italy. It is a gift for both the group and fans like us. In fact, we didn’t miss the chance to visit the new location in person with its three large showrooms featuring Euromobil, Désirée and Zalf.
One group and three brands: Euromobil, Désirée and Zalf
The company has built a large “Kitchen Tech” open space for Euromobil to display and showoff its kitchen systems. The space mesmerizes with its imposing volumes and transitional elements capable of connecting the kitchen to the living room based on various styles, budgets, and needs. However, the end goal is always aimed at freedom in design. The function of the showroom is not limited to product exposition. Indeed, Gruppo Euromobil’s idea was to create and maintain a connection between the company and the local area. We really appreciated their idea of a space which opens onto to the outdoors to host cooking shows, wine tastings, and cultural and artistic initiatives.
Spread out over two floors, the Zalf showroom has been built around the concept of “design that generates the space”. In what way? Well, the furniture systems also become architectonic structures which separate and combine the spaces, enhance the walls, and conceal objects which act both as storage and decorative elements. It is the expression of a fluid home which responds to the new ways of living and designing. It displays beauty that speaks a contemporary language which Zalf is able to perfectly interpret with its never-ending modularity.
Meanwhile, the concept created for Désirée brings the exposition space into relation with the production site. Not by chance an industrial look and hi-tech look was chosen for it. It includes open structures and lighting systems capable of enhancing projects. The space is austere, but by no means cold. The sofa collections from Désirée are spread out like archipelagos on the showroom’s warm hardwood flooring which is placed in such a way as to give a dynamic and nuanced effect. Finally, the irresistible aluminum-strip walls include plant elements that do not block the passage of natural light.
A big family business
With 50 years of experience, 700 sales points throughout the world, exports in 40 countries, and new showrooms opening around the globe, Gruppo Euromobil is an international corporation. However, while visiting the new hub you can’t help but remain impressed by the mark made on it by its management by the Lucchetta family. The four founding siblings and their children dedicate the attention and passion to all areas of the company that one would expect from a small family-run business. And it is easy to see how the working environment is both respectful and modern. There is no doubt that these are some of the “secret” ingredients of the success and innovation of Gruppo Euromobil.
