In order to design the right space for our kids, we should listen to them and try to understand their needs. By doing so, they can then show us how they see the world. This approach not only creates a bridge between the generations, but also works as a design philosophy for furnishing young people’s rooms as well.
Sustainability, equality, and inclusivity are just some of the issues that concern the youth and Moretti Compact is listening. Indeed, the Marche company is offering bedroom collections in which ecological materials, extremely modular structures, and various finishes can be fit to any taste or need.
That’s why today we’d like to take a closer look at the Young catalog: the bedroom collection made for growing up, when playtime gives way to new activities and interests.

A room for each personality
Kids grow up: beds get bigger, colors become more mature, and layouts and styles get determined by new needs and preferences.
When introducing the Young collection, Moretti Compact imagined a series of bedrooms capable of reflecting the needs of their young neighbors. We have chosen two from the catalog so you can check out their designs and get inspired by their personalities: YC318, the bedroom made for travel lovers, and YC313, the bedroom for skiers.
The traveler’s room

The first composition is for lively and adventurous young people. Soft colors? No thanks! Instead, light and dark purple get contrasted with bright yellow and a wall covered by a giant map so they can travel with their minds. It is a comfortable and cheerful getaway for those who already feel like globetrotters.
