Oluce makes its debut outdoors with a collection of lighting icons

The outdoors can now be seen in an entirely new light thanks to the outdoor lamps from Oluce—among the standout releases presented at the 2025 Salone del Mobile.

Outdoor lighting is no longer merely technical, but a key component in defining the look of a space. And Oluce is out to prove it with a collection which turns every space into a symphony of forms, light, and material.

Heritage and innovation: the new outdoor collection

In celebration of the brand’s 80th anniversary, Oluce introduced a collection of outdoor lamps at Euroluce 2025 which reflects the brand’s legacy of experimentation and timeless beauty.

This selection of lamps brings the formal quality of the indoor collection outdoors, while keeping the brand’s trademark refinement intact.

The iconic names of Vico Magistretti and Christophe Pillet take center stage with projects which revisit and reinvent two of Oluce’s most recognizable collections.

Lyndon, the poetry of a Magistretti sphere

Created in 1977 by Vico Magistretti, the Lyndon lamp has been redesigned for outdoor spaces as a wall, table, and floor lamp. Constructed around a metallic structure which frames the transparent polycarbonate spheres, its minimalist aesthetic tastefully and powerfully interacts with the outdoor space.

Available in glossy black and ivory, Lyndon maintains the harmony of the original but allows for different uses, preserving its unique ability to turn light into an architectural device. With the ability to offer discrete and elegant lighting, this piece works well both in the garden and on a city terrace.

Berlin-Out, geometry and measure outdoors

Meanwhile, Christophe Pillet has designed the Berlin-Out family, a collection which takes the formal sleekness and rigorous aesthetics of the indoor world and transports it outdoors. Available in various versions—floor, table, wall—this lamp sets itself apart with its slender structure, adjustable lighting body, and balance of volumes.

The colors—total ivory or matte black with a British racing green lampshade—contribute to the versatility of a line which has been designed for contemporary, refined, and even contract spaces. The wall version is especially poetic with a PMMA honeycomb disc which emits a delicate light, making it perfect for paths, walls, or facades.

The other outdoor lamps in the Oluce catalog

In addition to the new releases, the Oluce outdoor lamp catalog features well-known, timeless models.

Designed by Joe Colombo in 1967, Fresnel remains a classic outdoor light. Meanwhile, Otto by Federica Farina is an understated and functional, adjustable path light.

Amanita and Stones, by Mariana Pellegrino Soto and Laudani&Romanelli respectively, exhibit two different yet complementary approaches: the former is a sculptural path lamp, while the latter is an organic form which can be placed in the garden. In short, all of them are perfect for those looking for an outdoor designer lamp.
