The new Levitas modular kitchen: lightness and sustainability

During Milano Design Week 2024, the Euromobil Flagship Store in Milan gave a sneak peek at the company’s innovative modular kitchens.

The star of this showcase was the Levitas collection—available in the Levitas Glass and Levitas Alu versions—which was designed by Art Director Roberto Gobbo with Euromobil‘s research and development team.

The Levitas kitchen can be defined through three keywords: lightness, transparency, and sustainability. These concepts not only define the collection’s aesthetic, but also reflect the company’s commitment to responsible and forward-thinking design.

Levitas is not only a functional and contemporary kitchen, but also a clear example of a new vision, with deep cultural roots, of how to design the kitchens of the future.

The modular kitchen in two material variants

The word “levitas” evokes an idea of lightness and movement and brings to mind the fluidity of the air. The Levitas kitchen expresses this concept through an airy and sleek design with clean lines and transparent materials which provide a sense of spaciousness.

The collection comes in two material  variants: Levitas Glass and Levitas Alu, both of which are able to turn any of the home’s rooms into an elegant and functional space.

Levitas Glass modular kitchen

The Levitas Glass version’s main material is transparent extra-clear glass. The doors of the wall units, bases, and columns are made in glass, both on the front and sides. The structure is made up of an aluminum frame in lacquered aged brass which provides solidity and a touch of elegance. There are three opening systems which have been designed to fit in with the various uses of the kitchen.

The paneling that envelops the entire structure of the kitchen is in Wood Caneté Plus Natural, a material which adds warmth and refinement. The central island’s worktop is made in Taj Mahal quartzite natural stone, which is renowned for its resistance and durability, with colors ranging from cream to gray. Lastly, the Fast sliding snack top is incredibly functional and perfect for eating together and socializing.

Levitas Alu kitchen

Meanwhile, the Levitas Alu is centered on aluminum, a ductile and resilient material which is extremely light. The honeycomb doors come in an aged brass lacquer finish which creates a striking visual impact. The use of aluminum is evident on the doors of the wall units and the island bases, where the gleam of the metal provides a contemporary touch to the entire composition.

Sustainability and innovation

Sustainability is central to the Levitas collection. Both glass and aluminum are completely recyclable and capable of maintaining their original qualities over time. This choice demonstrates Euromobil’s commitment to eco-friendly and responsible solutions, combining aesthetics and sustainability into a product which responds to contemporary requirements.

The new Levitas modular kitchen is the ideal choice for those looking for an innovative and sustainable design which doesn’t require giving up on functionality and comfort. With its ability to blend lightness and solidity, and transparency and opacity, Levitas turns the kitchen into space where you can meet your loved ones, spend time together, and enjoy timeless beauty.
