The new compositions from Zalf’s SpaceMakers Young collection embody this very transformation. The Italian brand develops furniture systems that function as genuine domestic architectural structures: wardrobes, desks, and bookcases come together in a cohesive design that generates space and order.

SM2507: a compact composition that optimizes the space
The SM2507 composition takes the bedroom and turns it into a compact and intelligent wall system. It is the ideal solution for those seeking a functional yet visually light kids’ bedroom.
The project’s centerpiece is the storage wardrobe with a wall-hung overhead module in an opus concrete finish. This structure organizes the wall and frees up floor space, making the room lighter and tidier. The slate Virgola handle adds a discreet graphic detail that enhances the overall composition.
A sleeping area features the Light bed with a storage headboard in natural oak. The system integrates a manual pull-out frame that provides a second bed when needed—a practical solution for shared bedrooms or sleepovers.
Next to the bed stands a minimalist yet solid 5-cm-thick desk in natural oak, and above the headboard is a composition of Unoedue wall units and Marker shelves with LED lighting—perfect for books, objects, and decorative elements. The result is a compact Zalf bedroom designed to make elegant use of every centimeter of space.
SM2509: the bedroom that becomes a personal space
With SM2509, the bedroom takes on a more mature, structured character, designed for kids who begin to experience the room as a truly personal space.
The centerpiece of the composition is the Alterna wardrobe with a Gola door, featuring a TV module and an end bookcase. The structure in octane and sesame tones creates a dynamic wall that integrates storage, technology, and shelving into a single system.
In the sleeping area, the Pollock padded headboard panel is paired with a 29-cm-tall storage bed frame. The Funny fabric and natural oak finishes make the whole setting cozier, transforming the bed into the ideal place to unwind.
The Freespace bookcases, both suspended and floor-standing models, finish off the composition, adding a light visual rhythm. Next to the bed, the desk attached to the panel creates a tidy study area that integrates seamlessly into the design. SM2528: growing up with balance and minimalism
The SM2528 composition adopts a brighter, more minimal language that is ideal for those seeking an elegant and versatile girls’ or boys’ room.
The main wall is organized around the Alterna wardrobe with white talc Plana doors and a central overhead module that frames the bed area. The natural oak under-bridge end modules introduce a warm contrast that makes the room more inviting.
A queen-size Luk Small bed upholstered in Funny fabric.. The larger size accompanies the child’s growth and makes the room suitable for later stages of life as well.
The study area is visually set apart from the rest of the furniture thanks to the Scriba desk with a white metal structure paired with the Set chair. Next to the desk, the Freespace floor modules create a tidy bookcase that offers space for books, objects, and study materials. The result is one of the collection’s most well-balanced bedroom compositions: a bright, organized room ready to evolve over time.
