However, every so often, having a bit of fun is the best way to talk about what lies hidden beneath the surface of materials, finishes, and technological features.
This is exactly what we have decided to do with Di.Bi. Porte Blindate, pairing their high-end doors with some of pop culture’s most iconic superheroes. Our aim isn’t to promote comic books, but to highlight the true “superpowers” of these security solutions: strength, invisibility, fire resistance, intelligence, camouflaging, climate control, sound insulation, and much much more.
We are having a bit of fun, but this is a game that is rooted in reality: each Di.Bi. door is the result of engineering, aesthetic research, and measurable performance. This creative exercise will help you better understand the various functionalities and styles, and perhaps discover that the right door can truly make the difference.
Our security-door heroes
Just as the most iconic heroes act as a shield between the world and danger, a security door also silently performs a similar role every day: protecting the home, filtering what comes in, and safeguarding what truly matters.
We have decided to pair eight Di.Bi. models to eight security heroes to playfully highlight the unique qualities that set them apart. Each door has its own identity, its own power, and its own mission.

884 Door – Class 4 power
Built to withstand even the most aggressive break-ins, this is the most robust model in the range. Porta 884 is anti-intrusion Class 4 certified and reinforced in every critical area: the 12-anchor subframe, the special plates for fixed and lateral deadbolts, the 20/10 thick horizontal bars, the doorleaf made of three galvanized steel sheets. Plus, it comes with a European cylinder locking system with a drill-proof plate and five lateral deadbolts on the hinge side.
If the 884 door was a superhero, it would be the Incredible Hulk. Impossible to stop, it can withstand any impact with extraordinary strength. Just like the green giant, this security door exudes pure power: a reinforced structure, a steel core, and no intention to back down. Its instinct is to protect, anywhere and everywhere.
Mite Door – Queen of the weather
Mite is Di.Bi.’s security door with the best thermal insulation. With a rate of 1.00 W/m²K, it is fit for every type of climate found on the Italian peninsula. This is made possible thanks to a special frame with a thermal break and special filling materials for thermal insulation. This model is designed for those looking for energy savings, comfort, and sustainability without giving up on security.
If the Mite door was a superhero, it would be Storm. In sync with the weather and able to call on it at will, Mite protects the home against the cold and heat like Storm commands the wind and rain. Its superpower is insulation: an elegant and silent barrier that keeps extreme temperatures outdoors and keeps comfort indoors.
SeGreta Door – The security door with a secret
SeGreta is the patented security door with a hidden safe—one-of-a-kind and undetectable with a metal detector. Available in three possible configurations—on the top of the door, on the hinge side, or both—it is ideal for private spaces like secondary entries of the house, garages, or basements. The Segreta Plus version includes the magnetic defender Key Protector and a Multilock Interactive® cylinder with keys which can’t be copied to add even greater protection.
If the SeGreta door was a superhero, it would be Magneto—intelligent, mysterious, and inaccessible to detectors. Just like the master of magnetism, Segreta is capable of concealing itself and fending off any attempt at intrusion. Opentech is the most intelligent security door in Di.Bi.’s range. Its technological core lies in its electromechanical locking system that unlocks via a fingerprint scanner (up to 99 users), digital keypad, card, transponder, traditional key, and even SMS. It features a solid and high-performance structure with 16/10 thick double-galvanized steel sheets, insulating polyurethane, a door leaf detector, 5 fixed deadbolts, and adjustable hinges. Yet, its high-tech management is what sets it apart: the perfect door for those who want safety and control in the palm of their hand.
If the Opentech door was a superhero, it would be Mystique—versatile, intelligent, and able to instantly recognize you. Just as Mystique changes looks, Opentech memorizes fingerprints, codes, and identities. A shape-shifting, vigilant, and connected door, its superpower is its ability to transform to let to those who are authorized in and keep everything else out.
Sound Door – Silence is gold
Those who live in cities, a condo, or next to a busy street know the importance of a soundproofing door. Sound Maxi is designed to reduce noise up to 42 dB thanks to the use of high-performance, sound-absorbing materials: 120 kg/m³ rock wool and panels made of polyester fiber. Available in three versions (Maxi, Plus, Junior), it features anti-intrusion Class 3 and superior thermal insulation.
If the Sound door was a superhero, it would be Daredevil—quiet, perceptive, and infallible. Just like the blind hero who perceives through his senses, Sound protects with hearing: it absorbs sounds, insulates rooms, and creates an invisible acoustic shield. Its power is silence, because hearing less sometimes means living better.
RasoMuro Door – Nearly invisible
RasoMuro is the door that blends into the wall. The frame and subframe are flush to the wall with no frame in view to create a minimalist and completely camouflaged entrance. Designed for large modern spaces or eye-catching solutions, it also comes in a double leaf. It features a concealed hinge, a 180° opening, a double watertight threshold, and gaskets throughout the perimeter.
If the RasoMuro door was a superhero, it would be the Invisible Woman—discrete, elegant, also imperceptible to the eye. Just as Sue Storm disappears, RasoMuro blends in with the wall, allowing the architecture to shine. Invisible yet ironclad, its superpower is disappearing while always protecting.
Meccanya Door – Hi-tech security
The locking system of the Meccanya door is completely mechanical yet automatic. At each closure, both the latchbolt and the pins of the lateral deadbolts lock at the same time without the need of manual operations. To unlock from the outside, all it takes is two turns of the key and turning the knob; from the inside, turning the knob alone does the trick. This is a sophisticated door protected by a steel subframe, a service lock, a weatherstrip bar, and 5 fixed deadbolts.
If the Meccanya door was a superhero, it would be Iron Man. Brilliant, precise, and automatic, it doesn’t need commands to activate its defenses. Just like Tony Stark’s high-tech armor, this security door is a true concentration of ingenuity and functionality. It knows when to lock, how to react, and especially how to protect you—always.
Drago Door – Fire resistance
Drago is an interior security door with a specific mission: fire resistance. It is REI 60 – RE60 certified and offers 30 minutes of protection based on the CNVVF/CCI/UNI9723 standard. Equipped with a protective steel-sheet cover, a fireproof and smokeproof gasket, a doorleaf made of three galvanized steel sheets, and door insulation with a high-density mineral wool, it is anti-intrusion Class 3 and available in various melamine finishes.
If the Drago door was a superhero, it would be the Human Torch. It withstands fire naturally even in the most extreme situations—flames, high temperatures, and emergencies. Always vigilant, never vulnerable, its superpower is remaining unfazed when others would give in.
