It’s called Sivida, and it is the latest bathroom series from the French starchitect and designer Philippe Starck for Duravit. Created with both a pared-down and vibrant design, Sivida features an extensive range of pieces so you can create a highly customizable bathroom area—a comfortable space where it is simple and pleasant to carry out our daily cleaning and washing rituals.
Simple volumes with elegant details, superior modularity and a wide range of looks (tone on tone or contrasting) make Sivida a highly versatile collection which is fit for the most varied settings.
Sivida, a strongly tactile series
One of Sivida’s distinctive aspects surely comes from DuroCast®, a mineral composite with both a visual and tactile velvety effect, which is used for sinks and consoles. In this collection it comes both in solid or two-tone color combinations so you can add a vibrant touch to the space.

Bathroom furniture
To create one or two sink compositions, the furniture has been designed to harmoniously integrate the accessories and the countertop sinks of the series. In addition to wall-mounted or floorstanding versions in various sizes, the furniture includes refined accessories in metal like handles, towel racks, and base legs.
The series’ cabinet aids in organizing the space. Freely positionable and pairable with the washbasin furniture, it becomes essential for putting away objects and linen.
And lastly, Sivida includes six different finishes: solid colors which come in matte or glossy white, graphite gray, and pale green, or exquisite woods like marbled oak and walnut.
The sink area
The sink area is highly customizable, offering various aesthetic options. It is possible to choose a washbasin or combine a washbowl with an integrated countertop.
Three colors are also available: satin white, dark gray, or matte green, and it is possible to opt for a two-tone version to add a splash of color.
The eclectic and tactile nature of the line can be found in the square or rounded countertop sinks which stand out with their refined design and bold look.
The DuroCast® material is used both on the washbowls and the consoles on which they are placed, creating visual continuity which gives the impression it is one single piece. Moreover, the side shelves provide a practical space for keeping the bathroom tidy.
