In 2026, Talents celebrates its 25th anniversary—a story shaped by intuitions, alternative materials, poetic objects, and visions that have often anticipated the directions of contemporary design.
For this special edition, Ambiente brings two generations of designers together in a single exhibition: 15 ex-Talents now established on the international scene and 10 young designers selected for their experimental and conscientious approach.

Staged in Hall 3.1, at the heart of the Living area, the exhibition presents itself as an intergenerational creative laboratory: a dialogue between diverse design cultures united by the desire to imagine new, sustainable, and meaningful solutions.
A launchpad for tomorrow’s talents
Talents has always been more than an exhibition: it is a launchpad. The young designers selected receive free exhibition space and an international setting where they can engage directly with brands, buyers, manufacturers, and the press. Over 25 years, the program has helped build careers, foster connections, and transform ideas into tangible objects.
The 2026 edition pays tribute to this tradition with a brand-new format: emerging projects are interwoven with those of established designers, offering visitors a broad overview of what design has produced—and will continue to produce—as a creative response to the present.
Sustainable visions, alternative materials, new sensibilities
The themes explored by Talents 2026 reflect the priorities of our time: the intelligent use of resources, research into materials, and holistic approaches to contemporary living. There are objects created from industrial waste, furniture that blends craftsmanship and technology, and concepts that look into new domestic rituals.

The result is an exhibition that surprises, provokes, and reveals an evolving design world that is capable of embracing the complexity around us. It reminds us, once again, that ideas—and not trends—are what will lead us into the future.
