Each of them will sign evocative installations capable of transforming the very concept of space and matter.
Alongside the exhibitions, the SaloneSatellite, a platform dedicated to designers under 35, is back, as well as the “Salone in the City” program, which will bring design to Milan’s neighborhoods, with more than 100 showrooms involved.
Main events of the Kermesse:
- Salone del Mobile
- Euroluce
- 3 major installations
- Drafting the Future. Conversations on upcoming perspectives
- SaloneSatellite
“Thought for Humans.”: the centrality of humans in design
The Salone del Mobile 2025 comes with a communication campaign with a strong visual and conceptual impact: “Thought for Humans.”, signed by Dentsu Creative Italy and interpreted by American photographer Bill Durgin.

Through five powerful images, the campaign explores the relationship between the human body and design materials-wood, metal, fabric, and bioplastic-emphasizing the need for sustainable design in harmony with nature. The message is clear: design is not just form and aesthetics, but a language that dialogues with human beings and their well-being.
Euroluce 2025: light as the language of the future
After the success of The City of Lights in 2023, Euroluce returns with a new vision for 2025. Light, a fundamental element of everyday living, will be the protagonist of an exhibition and cultural journey involving more than 300 exhibitors from 25 countries.

The highlight will be the first edition of “The Euroluce International Lighting Forum,” which will address the theme of light from different perspectives: technological, environmental, philosophical and anthropological. Lighting designers, architects, artists and scientists will take turns in master classes and workshops to analyze the role of light in the future of living and urban spaces.
Three major players in art, light and design
Pierre-Yves Rochon and the timeless sophistication of Villa Héritage
Luxury hotelier maestro Pierre-Yves Rochon, famous for his designs for Four Seasons, Ritz, and Waldorf Astoria, signs Villa Héritage for Salon 2025.

Housed in Halls 13 and 15, this installation celebrates the value of time and memory, blending tradition with a contemporary aesthetic. The space is inspired by the concept of luxury understood not only as opulence, but as a sensory and cultural experience. The rooms of the Villa follow one another like chapters in a story, creating a dialogue between design, art and architecture.
Paolo Sorrentino and the mystery of waiting
After David Lynch’s success in 2024, the baton passes to Paolo Sorrentino, who presents “The Sweet Expectation” in Halls 22-24.

This installation represents a dreamlike journey suspended in time, where the audience is invited to reflect on the concept of waiting as an emotional and philosophical experience. The director, with the collaboration of set designer Margherita Palli, creates an immersive environment in which the viewer is enveloped in an atmosphere suspended between present and future.
Robert Wilson and the homage to the Rondanini Pieta
One of the most striking events of Salone del Mobile 2025 will be Mother, Robert Wilson’s extraordinary installation with music by Arvo Pärt.

Produced in collaboration with the City of Milan | Culture, the work will be installed at the Pietà Rondanini Museum – Castello Sforzesco and will remain on view until May 18, 2025. Wilson, a master of light and set design, creates a visual and sonic dialogue with Michelangelo’s iconic sculpture, amplifying its sense of suspension and incompleteness.
The SaloneSatellite 2025: the future in the hands of young designers
The SaloneSatellite, which has been uniting talents, cultures and projects since 1998, celebrates its 25th anniversary. With about 600 participants from Now in its 26th year, the SaloneSatellite remains a key stage for emerging talents.

In Halls 5 and 7, 700 young designers and 20 international schools will present innovative projects, exploring connections between tradition and new technologies. With a layout designed by Ricardo Bello Dias, SaloneSatellite 2025 focuses on sustainable materials and alternative production processes, celebrating creativity as a driver of change.
The Salone in the city: Milan lights up with design
As every year, the Salone del Mobile will not be limited to the spaces of the fair, but will involve the entire city of Milan.
