Today’s bookcases no longer stand on the sidelines. They take center stage, divide spaces, frame the TV, and serve as backdrops to everyday life. Increasingly, they become the element that structures the space, guides the eye, and showcases objects and souvenirs.
Kosmos from Moretti Compact Giorno/Notte reinterprets this evolution through elegant and intelligent bespoke compositions designed to respond to diverse lifestyles with flexible, functional, and architecturally significant solutions.

Every home has its bookcase
Some dream of a striking wall-to-wall bookcase to organize hundreds of books and art objects; others prefer a discreet solution beside the TV, perhaps suspended to leave the floor visually unencumbered. In smaller spaces, the bookcase can extend upwards or integrate a drop-down desk; in open-plan interiors, the bookcase can become a partition, defining the space without enclosing it.
Some prefer closed modules for concealment; others love open ones that can be personalized. Then there are the finishes: matte lacquers, glass, natural woods…every detail expresses a need, a style, a habit. And Kosmos was created to give shape to all of these possibilities.
Kosmos Collection: four bookcases, four identities
The Kosmos collection is an advanced living-room furniture system in which aesthetics and function coexist in perfect harmony. Each composition presents a different way of inhabiting space. In this article, we introduce you to four emblematic solutions:
- KL203, elegant and compact with an integrated TV compartment
- KL208, rigorous and bright with glass modules
- KL209, sophisticated and geometric with vertical elements
- KL219, flexible and light, perfect as a partition
Bookcase KL203

Bookcase with hidden TV compartment
Designed for sophisticated interiors, the KL203 bookcase combines rational composition with a striking presence. The wood’s warm tones blend with lacquered surfaces and technical details, creating a wall system that integrates storage, aesthetics, and technology. Perfect for those seeking a tidy living room with personality.

Hidden TV compartment
The TV is set within the structure, concealed by two sliding panels in champagne-lacquered glass and framed by aluminum profiles. An elegant and discreet solution for those who love tidy, technologically equipped spaces.

Fitted open compartments
The bookcase is punctuated by open compartments of varying dimensions and organized with vertical and horizontal dividers to create flexible display spaces. The inclusion of contrasting backdrops highlights books and decorative objects, making the system dynamic and functional.

Built-in LED light
An LED profile integrated into the shelves illuminates the compartments with soft, discreet light. The result is a bookcase that feels different by day and by night, enhancing visual comfort and the space’s overall elegance.
Bookcase KL208

An architectural bookcase embraces transparency
Rigor, light, and visual lightness guide the KL208 composition. This wall-to-wall bookcase alternates closed modules with glass compartments, creating a dialogue between order and transparency. The result is a linear, elegant system fully integrated into the space.

Open melamine shelves
The open compartments alternate regularly across the composition. The lightly finished shelves play off of the sage-green partitions, adding depth and movement to the wall. Each object finds its place without weighing down the overall composition.

Plus Stopsol glass panel
Three central modules are enclosed by transparent fumé glass panels framed in burnished aluminum profiles. The Stopsol glass reflects the surrounding space while protecting its contents, allowing vases, objects, and books to remain on display.

Gridded open compartments
Some internal compartments are structured by a series of orthogonal dividers, forming nooks within a gridded layout. This modular grid enhances flexibility in arranging books while making a striking visual impact.
Bookcase KL209

Wall bookcase with vertical geometries
KL209 is a composition designed for those seeking a bookcase that also functions as a wall system. Perfect for elegant, functional living areas, its symmetrical layout and alternation of solid and open elements create distinctive visual balance.

Open and closed columns
Two lateral columns feature open bookcase modules, while the central volumes are enclosed by textured panels. This alternation results in a rhythmic, organized composition that satisfies storage and display needs.

Breeze panel in moss glass
The front panels are customized with the Brezza model, which features an oblique pattern and moss-lacquered extra-clear glass. A refined graphic detail, it lends character to the bookcase without weighing it down.

TV compartment and suspended base units
The heart of the composition is the TV compartment framed by a backlit boiserie. Below, two suspended base units of differing depths create a continuous, spacious surface that is perfect for tech devices and everyday objects.
Bookcase KL219

Partition bookcase with uprights
Ideal for open-plan spaces or interiors that combine the dining and living areas, KL219 is a double-sided bookcase that furnishes while dividing. The metal upright structure supports shelves, compartments, and drawers, creating a light yet highly functional wall system.

Vertical metal uprights
The structure is composed of full-height metallic uprights fixed to the ceiling or wall. These connect the various suspended elements—shelves, base units, and storage units—ensuring structural solidity and a contemporary industrial aesthetic.

Oak drawer base units
At the base of the composition, flamed oak drawers offer increased storage. Their clean lines and textured finish keep them discreet yet elegant, offering a refined contrast to the light, colorful shelves.

Suspended storage units
The closed oak compartments are attached directly to the uprights and seem to float in mid-air. Perfect for hiding what you don’t want to display, they finish off the composition with the ideal balance of solid and open volumes.
